Imagine snow, sunshine, spring temperatures, beautiful mountains, starry skies, icy nights, warm fires, cozy cabins in the trees, and good food.  This is Tall Timber in the Spring!  Now imagine great worship, challenging sessions, good friends, family, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, tubing, night games, and more!  You’ve just imagined our Spring Snow Retreat.  While we are at Tall Timber we will spend our time playing in the snow at camp (Nordic skiing & snowshoeing an option), worshipping together, attending special teaching/discussion sessions, and relaxing. Don’t miss out!

You are invited!

This retreat is open to anyone, but is designed especially for youth, parents of teens or pre-teens, families, and young singles.  You are encouraged to bring friends.  We will be spending 2 nights at Tall Timber Ranch.  The camp is located outside of Leavenworth, a short drive from the Lake Wenatchee turnoff on Highway 2. We will be staying in cabins and lodges with bunk beds.  There are private rooms with a double bed and 2 bunk beds for couples and families with small children. Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. All meals are provided by the camp kitchen.  $75/person covers everything!

Other Details

We will meet at Mt. View at 5:00 PM on Friday, March 12.  We have a bus to take the bulk of our group. The camp is not providing dinner for us on Friday so please bring a sack dinner and snacks to share. We will return to Marysville around 5:00 PM on Sunday. The actual time we return to the church will be dependent on traffic and weather. It would be a good idea to bring spending money for food or snacks for the drive home since we will only have a brunch on Sunday.

The Cost

We heavily subsidize the cost of this retreat so that everyone can come. The more in your family attending, the better deal you get!

RETREAT: $75.00     Covers lodging, meals, transportation, rentals of skis or snowshoes, tubing, and a lot of fun!

Family Discount: $35.00     For every one family member pays the full $75 fee, one other adult or youth family member is 1/2 price ($37.50).

Kids (5-10): $20.00

Kids 4 and under are free

To Sign Up

Bring a $10/person deposit to the church office by the March 5 deadline. Full payment is required for adults to reserve a room in Shultze Center. If you are coming on the retreat as a minor without a parent then you need permission and medical release forms before we leave.

Deadline: Thursday, March 4

Help Wanted!

If you know of a college-age student from our church willing to counsel then point them our way—they can come for free! We will also give a free retreat to anyone willing to counsel a cabin.
